Third-party components and licenses
Updated: October 13, 2026
BetterOne Console Server includes third-party open-source components. Copyright remains with their respective owners, and each component is used and distributed under its applicable license. The product's proprietary license and EULA do not restrict rights granted by those third-party licenses. Chinese edition.
The complete component inventory, versions, copyright notices, and original license texts are in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt. The inventory covers backend dependencies, the Go runtime, components used by the browser build, and the Windows service wrapper. Some build-time components and inherited upstream notices are retained for attribution; their inclusion does not mean all their code is distributed with the product.
Major components include Go, go.bug.st/serial, modernc.org/sqlite, Vue, Nuxt, Vue Router, Vue I18n, xterm.js, and Lucide. Consult the original texts for exact versions and licensing terms. Lucide's notice includes ISC and MIT terms for portions derived from Feather. The SQLite driver and SQLite itself have separate licensing information in the upstream notices.
Some Windows/Linux serial library sources have been locally modified for I/O cancellation, timeouts, and handle lifecycle management. The original BSD-3-Clause notice is retained. The Windows installer also includes WinSW and its MIT license.
Release archives and Windows installation directories include THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt. Linux deb/rpm packages install it at /usr/share/doc/betterone-console-server/THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt. The Web service also makes it available at /THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt.
Both language editions share the same notice file. Original license texts are not translated or replaced by this summary.
